About Dr. Heather Levites
Dr. Heather Levites is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with a special interest in advanced cosmetic surgery. She earned her undergraduate degree at MIT after attending an arts high school in New York City. She earned her MD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and completed her plastic surgery training at Duke University. She went on to complete an additional fellowship year of specialized training in aesthetic surgery in Charlotte.
Dr. Levites specializes in sub-SMAS or “Deep-Plane” facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid and eyebrow surgery, as well as fat transfer procedures of the face, breast, and buttock. Her aesthetic is conservative and she always carefully considers the long term consequences of aesthetic surgery when crafting a surgical plan for each of her patients.
A diplomate at the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgeons, a candidate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and an Associate Member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Levites also has the honor of instructing Duke University residents in training, teaching the next generation of plastic surgeons.
In her free time, Dr. Levites enjoys spending time with her daughter Harper (3), her husband Taylor and her two dogs Belle and Meeko. She particularly loves home projects (including anything needing assembly), trips to Disney World, as well as drawing and painting.
